Digitizing roughness length in Map Editor

I have a question about digitizing in Map Editor.
I imported an ESRI map file with a 12km radius from the site and digitized roughness lengths.
Should we digitize the roughness length whole of the map? Or just near the site?

Hi Finn,

Rule of thumb for land cover map size is:
Map radius = 150 × {calculation height}

This means if you have 100 m hub heights for your turbines, you will need a 15 km radius for the roughness map.
