Gaoithe Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 Hi all,As detailed in the post below I am also receiving this error:"TSRTM_IMPORTProcessor.AssembleSWBDMaps: TSRTM_IMPORTProcessor.AssembleSWBDMap: Access Violation at address 00899A01 in module "WAsPMapEditor12.exe. Read of address 00000000."WAsP Map Editor worked fine first time this morning but now when I am trying to download SRTM data I’m getting the error as above. For example, using DTU Wind UTM coordinates:Northern hemisphere, Zone 33, WGS84 datum: E 317865 m, N 6175835 m.I get the same error if I use latitude / longitude or a different site.I have tried:• Restarting computer• Downloading the latest version of Map Editor from wasp.dk and installing• Deleting all data in the SRTM library This has not fixed the error. Thanks
Gaoithe Posted October 16, 2018 Posted October 16, 2018 In a further update to this I have installed the WAsP suite on a different computer with a fresh install of Windows 10. I am receiving the same error when attempting to download SRTM maps. This new computer is connected to a LAN so I think this rules out any WIFI connection issues and also any issues with the original laptop.
Gaoithe Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 This error was related to the SRTM database and not WAsP Map Editor. All working fine now :)
Andreas Posted October 18, 2018 Posted October 18, 2018 Thanks, Gaoithe,There have been some problems with the SRTM download; when this happens, you can also download from the GWA Map Warehouse inside the Map Editor. I think it worked without problemsKind regardsAndreas
Ole Rathmann Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Hi Gaoithe, apparently a wrong SRTM URL-address was used. Glad the problem is solved.Ole Rathmann
