I have a WAsP 9 dongle that is not able to be detected by my Windows 7 64 bit computer. It was working up until 20 December, and now the dongle does not light up anymore. I have tried reinstalling the software package including the license manager but it still does not work. Here are the error details from the License Manager software:

Hi Chuaw,

Sorry to hear about this problem. It's not a known issue. The dongles for all versions of WAsP are the same, and many people are using them successfully on Windows 7 -64 as far as I know.

The fact that the dongle light is not coming on may indicate that there is a mechanical problem with the dongle itself. Can you try it on another computer? What happens if you just plug it in?

Hi Duncan

I have tried it on another laptop and the dongle does not light up even after I have installed the license manager.

Hi,

It appears your dongle has had some kind of physical failure and needs to be replaced.

This discussion now continues by direct email.
