chuaw Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I have a WAsP 9 dongle that is not able to be detected by my Windows 7 64 bit computer. It was working up until 20 December, and now the dongle does not light up anymore. I have tried reinstalling the software package including the license manager but it still does not work. Here are the error details from the License Manager software:Report made on 2013-12-30 19:49:52HASP dongle drivers are version: UnknownHASP dongle drivers were installed on: UnknownHASP dongle drivers think the processor is: UnknownNo HASP dongles are attached.Risø's licence server DLL is working OKLicence server DLL version: 2.9.9.0
Duncan Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Hi Chuaw, Sorry to hear about this problem. It's not a known issue. The dongles for all versions of WAsP are the same, and many people are using them successfully on Windows 7 -64 as far as I know. The fact that the dongle light is not coming on may indicate that there is a mechanical problem with the dongle itself. Can you try it on another computer? What happens if you just plug it in?Duncan.
chuaw Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Hi DuncanI have tried it on another laptop and the dongle does not light up even after I have installed the license manager.
Duncan Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Hi, It appears your dongle has had some kind of physical failure and needs to be replaced. This discussion now continues by direct email.Duncan.
