EMERGENT DISTRIBUTION IN WASP

Hello! Could anyone help me on finding a paper relative to the calculation of the emergent distribution of wind speed? The help is a little short and I would like to see what is behind the calculation.

Perhaps you are refering to the WAsP homepage, which has a short explanation of this concept. I think something has been lost while formating the page for our new design. Please find a more complete version in the WAsP help file section 'modeling with WAsP| power production estimation| wind speed distributions'.

Hi Madajavi, we have now updated the WAsP FAQ-page regarding all-sector wind speed distributions, containing in fact the equation for the emergent wind speed distribution. The page also contains a link to a very illustrative example, highlightening the special features of the emergent distribution.
