valerie Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 We have just recently purchased WASP Engineering 2 only (not WAsP 10), and have installed the USB dongle and license. Unfortunately, the Map Editor will only run in demo mode - it does not seem to recognize when the dongle is plugged in. The other applications seem to recognize it fine. I have tried various installation options with no success:- on OS Windows XP, 64-bit; Windows XP, 32-bit and on Windows 7 64-bit- uninstalled and re-installed without WAsP 10 files- installed without WAsP 10 files on new machineI have been trying to work around it by generating the map file directly from ArcGIS, and I have managed to get the elevation contours in correctly, but the roughness boundaries don't seem to be coming in correctly. I tried loading in the map editor and it says I have 365 dead ends. Unfortunately, I can't save the corrected version because of the license issue. Can anyone suggest another work around for me until I get the license issue resolved? I'm really desperate to get this working asap.ThanksValerie
Niels Gylling Mortensen Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 A new installation file for the WAsP Map Editor has been uploaded to the WAsP web site; maybe this will solve the problem? Download it from http://www.risoe.dtu.dk/WAsP/Download/Software/WAsP10_Installation.aspx
