JA2411 Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Hello,I am a student completing a thesis on wind farm development. I have Windpro with a student Liecence and now i need to use statgen to calculate some wind statistics. Is it possible to get a student liecence for wasp to carry out these calculations? Or is there any other way of calculating wind statistics in WindPro without Wasp?Thank you very much for your time and help
Duncan Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 As far as I am aware, there is no student licence for WAsP. Sorry, Duncan.
jarm100 Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 I am currently doing my masters dissertation, and I have been able to get both ( a windPro and Wasp license) and have successfully used them to perform calculations.the windpro is 75 Euros, and the WAsP is free
Niels Gylling Mortensen Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 Write an email to wasp@risoe.dtu.dk and ask for a student licence; they will know if and under what conditions such a licence is available.
salman Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I believe that you can save you wasp working in the exportable versions like *.rsf format and can import in windpro. Have a look on exported formats of waspBr,Salman
