ahching Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Hi,I want to ask about WAsP Eng function: reporting-5 Extreme wind grid map(needs oewc/rewc, height)When I ran a case, I wanted to get a extreme wind grid map for all wind direction with this case. I tried to use the function above, but the result showed the map was opposite direction entirely (both x and y direction). Why this happened? How to solve it ?
Duncan Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Sorry but I don't really understand this. Did the script run without errors? After the script executed, you should have a grid map (GRD file), right? What do you mean when you say that the result showed the map was opposite direction entirely? Was the grid map up-side down and back-to-front? Which program did you use to look at the grid map?
ahching Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 yes, I got a grid map, and it was up-side down. And I used the Sufer 8.0 to look this grid map. I found I can use the mirror function to solve this problem. But I don't know why this problem happened?
Duncan Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 OK. This sounds like a bug in the script. We'll investigate. Thanks for the report.
Duncan Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 I'm sorry to say that I can't reproduce this. The extreme grid map output seems correctly layed out to me.
