windmueller Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Dear all, short question: when I use a *.tab file containing data measured in a height for e.g. 70m and I calculate at the same coordinates the wind climate for the height of 70m (= the same height) the result should be the same, isn't it.I now have a case where there is a difference of slightly more than 5% in the wind power density which I think is pretty much. What is the reason of that and what can I do to solve this problem? Thanks!
Niels Gylling Mortensen Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Yes, the self-prediction should be fairly close, especially the power density. See also my response here http://www.wasptechnical.dk/forum/viewtopic.php?id=250
